It's more of a make work/keep busy type of job. This is the Z-Max eating wood and pooping shavings. I have filled several big tubs and the blade has not really dulled, it has slowed down, and takes more force to cut, but it still scrape cuts arm hair and whistles thru paper.

I sure like the edge retention, I have no intention on testing toughness or strength with this one. I have touched it up with 1000gr diamond and stropping, freehand and factory angle. I can't get it to hair whittling but I don't need to whittle hairs that often anyway.

I am iffy on picking up the Rex76 as I prefer stainless by far.
