Best Knife For Opening The Next Knife Box

New knife arrives, we eagerly slice the tape and/or sticker to get the box open. Since we STILL don't have a dedicated Knife Box Opener what do you guys use? Do you have a ritual? A place that you open all your new knives? Do we need a design focused expressly at knife packages, a Shelf Defense blade?

I usually use the newest to open the next newest.

I feel it should be the alpha that initiates the new member into the pack. I don't have a ritual, but it is usually at my desk at home.

That being said, a few I was really anxious to get have been opened in the car at the mailbox with whatever is in my pocket that day...

My Magnamule gets box duty quite a bit just because I've been using it a lot to continue evaluating the steel. Otherwise it's whatever happens to be laying in front of me or in my pocket at the time. There are always several knives within arms reach around my desk.
