Too bad the C-60 Ayoob Sprint Run hasn't been released yet>> what a great Father's Day present that would be.

But getting dad a really nice Spyderco Hawkbill would also make for a great gift.

This is my dad’s edc. (Before pic, didn’t take an after pic) I sharpened it and cleaned the pivot. He uses and abuses this knife and is working in freshwater almost every single day. The only thing that has a fair amount of rust is the clip. Weird. Wish i had a pic of the rusty clip. It’s on the bent part. Image

Thanks SG89! My BIL is in town with his 3 daughters, so we’ve got a 7-cousin pile going!

Happy Father's Day! I used to think that caring for newborns and toddlers was tough for a father, but as I've grown much older I realize that being a father doesn't become any easier even when your children are already adults.

The hazards keep morphing from stairs and sharp corners to worse things, don't they?

Yes, they do. On hindsight, it makes me grateful that my own father supported and believed in me when I was going off course as a young adult. He passed away several years ago, but I still miss him dearly.

Thank you kindly, SG! Happy Father’s Day to all the dads here! 😄 I think about my own father quite often. Although he passed away over twenty years ago, the guidance and good advice he gave is still with me to this day.

I'm not an "actual" father, but my stepdaughter is 10 years old and I've been in her life since she was 11 months old. It's tough, but also very rewarding. The more she turns into a little person, the more I see some of me in her as well (the good and bad) haha. She's always called me daddy, or dad these days. It's never been forced on her, so that works for me!

You're a father. I hope everyone here got to spend the day with those they love, and for those who didn't I hope you were able to cherish the memories of great days passed!

Happy father's day everyone!

May be a little off here but I did noticed a bunch of flags flying around the neighborhood today ... concluded that good dad's are certainly worthy of public appreciation/recognition. :smiling-cheeks

I have come to realize the same about my Dad ... the best thing he did for me was getting me pointed in the right direction with life during a period when it would have been easy to go otherwise. Hopefully, I have passed this down to my daughter.

In recognition of two decades of my effort, I spoiled myself to a Murray Carter Muteki. After the fact, I learned that this is not Murray Carter but Murray Carter apprentice turned journeyman/bladesmith... he, he ... Still, pretty cool stuff!

Happy Father's Day to all the good fathers.

Strangely enough, I was able to point my dad towards an actual Murray Carter at a really good/Muteki price about 6 years ago...it's a camel bone neck knife actually stamped by Carter himself...he loves the knife, but I'm still not sure he understands the rarity of the knife. I take joy in just knowing it's what Carter considers the ultimate neck knife and honestly love my BRK Adventurer which is based off of the same model just as much...

They are great designs! Happy father's day!
