Have you seen it guys? https://youtu.be/WsbnTk5AEeE It's not my video. Knife can be seen from 3:45. I'm very excited about it and glad they went with VG-10 instead of s30v.

Thanks for sharing! This looks like a great construction/renovation work knife. I know that is not the purpose, but I'm digging the generous handle with the small leaf shape blade. I like a smaller blade working on projects, but you typically get a smaller handle. May have to pick one of these up.

Very interesting, almost looks like it has some slight contouring to the FRN. If so I'm all over this one. This is the knife I keep thinking would be so perfect in an XL version, I absolutely love the handle and how close the edge is to the grip.

First Japanese compression lock? I wonder if they will have trouble with centering? At over $150 for VG-10...it may not fly off the shelves but it's a really cool little design and I look forward to seeing more about it. Hopefully before the end of the year?
So it goes.

Nope, Ouroboros was the last one, not sure if others came before it. I thought the Salsa was but they were from Taiwan.

i considered the original in g10 when it was on clearance. i should've grabbed it, but i didn't. i don't like that he couldn't commit to it being below $150. for these materials, i almost don't even care how much i like it. that's too expensive. this would be a great hard use knife though.

So this one will be sub 200$ then. Can anyone remember how much the msrp was of the g10 version of those before it was discontinued?
Here that one went easily over 300 euro’s so if can now how much that had for msrp i can compare a little and see how much this one will cost when it arrives in Europe. ( And sadly it is not as easily as comparing the dollar to the euro then you’re at least 20% short on reality. :pleading )

It better come in at sub $150 or else it will almost certainly follow in the footsteps of its G10 predecessor.

About US$320 MSRP according the Spydiewiki.

Yep I knew I was forgetting one. Also the ATR/ATR 2, and I think the ATR 2 is the latest CL from Japan not the Ouroboros.

The G-10 Lil Temperance 3 itself was also a compression lock from Japan.

As I recall from handling it, the FRN was contoured. Moreso on the bottom than the top, and overall a little less than the contouring found on the Para 3 LW. Regardless, it felt good in hand

Want to say it had skeletonized liners like on the Delica.

Yeah, hopefully he's talking MSRP, $150 street price for polymer and VG-10 is just too high. I picked up my DLT M390 red G-10 Para 3 for $149 10 months ago, and my DLT CruWear purple G-10 Para 2 for $158 in April.

Street price ~ $100 would put it at nearly the same price as 20CV/M390 Delicas/Endelas/Enduras, the comp lock would be a plus, but still... $150 street price and it's a dead duck. I do dig that they went with steel liners all the way around, that's a good move IMO.

Thx for the help wrdwrght! Now if i make calculated guess knowing the g10 ones prices and the prices in dollar and euro of a native 5 lw spy 27 and the para 3 LW spy27. i prosume its going to cost me at least 175 euro. I love my originals but i guess i will also pass on this one. To bad Spyderco makes the Lil temperance always much more expensive as other designs. It will be a great knife for sure but not for those msrp+ prices they ask around here and surtenly compared to natives and para 3's in its kind. So i hope i am wrong but i fear for it.
