Spy27 is already available in the Manix 2 LW. I assume you mean you want in the G-10 Manix 2?

Yeah i need the g10 because i do not like LW Manixes All other LW's are cool but the LW manix is a nail in my coffin. For me the LW is like the porsche boxter you can claim it is real but it does not fit next to a 911...
And now thx to all those bloody exclusives i can not even get a normal s30v anymore. So #Save the g10 Manix! 😝

i actually love the m2lw, but i've already got one that i really enjoy. i don't see a need to get another, unless the steel is very compelling and the pins are gone. we're almost there.

Seems like SPY27 with Blue Scales would be a great Sprint Run eventually running through all the Golden models. Like the last one in Rex45.

Does not need to be a sprint it can maybe replace s110v ? The hype around that one seems to be died off? But a run of all models in spy27 with g10 seems nice to me.

Same here. I love the LW Manix, but the G10 is by far my fave. SPY27 in a G10 Manix would be a sure winner (IMHO).

What a lovely topic! :party-face Always happy to see my favorite steel being talked about. And what a standout first favorite to have.

I'd definitely take SPY27 in most any form Golden would put out, but first and top-foremost-me-me-me-pick-me on that list would be a standard PM2 or PM2 Lightweight. Black or Cobalt G10/FRN, oh man, chef's kiss

Next up? UKPK. Just seems to fit the idea of SPY27 as a whole. Low maintenance, no locks or releases, this is a buddy-knife that you can count on, or put in your shoe (but also count on).

Lil Native Lightweight - Just a slam dunk

Let's sprint the Dodo in SPY27. This isn't a great suggestion, being that we all know you're trying to slow down on sprints/exclusives, but LB is right, this knife needs a stainless. Also a great opportunity to be the first Spyderedge27.

And when the steel eventually makes the trip to Seki, man oh man will it be nice to see some Delicas and Enduras, Dragonflies, cute lil ladybugs and manbugs, all with the lil SPY27 marking on them. Fun to think about!

Edit: I forgot about the Stretch 2 SS - whewwwwwww that's a good sounding spy27

As for a completely wacky shot in the dark - I'd buy a Roadie and Urban if Maniago ever got their hands on it!

I love the Manix 2 Lightweight. Have one in SPY27 and another in Rex 45. Would love to see the Stretch 2 XL in this steel.

I’d like to see SPY27 in a Rockjumper, especially serrated. I think both of those, the steel and knife model, fit my preferences super closely.
I’m already pretty excited over the new SPY27 Mule and so hearing there’s plans for a serrated version (immediately after logging into the forum for the first time in a while too), it just adds to that hype for me.
All of those things, the steel, Mule and Rockjumper designs, and serrations compliment each other really well, I think.

I like your thinking Brock O Lee, the SPY27 in all the Golden made models just makes sense.

I would like to see a Straight Spine Stretch in this steel and color.

A Golden-made SPY27 UKPK with a pivot comprising a male and female Chicago screw/binding bolt would get my money.

The Spy27 is in my pocket. Picked up the Para 3 right when they came out. For me it has been worth it not to wait, Spy27 feels like good steel. For Spy27, I think picking a winning platform is too hard, so +1 for Brock O Lee, run all the Golden models.

It's almost starting to feel like there are too many steels. I never thought I'd say that but it's like there's only so much manufacturing capacity and ultimately something is going to be put on the back burner. It seems like a large part of Golden's production is dedicated to sprints or exclusives and the in house stuff is sitting in que waiting.
I couldn't agree with you more, it really seems like the various PM2 variants are eating up a lot of capacity. I know Sal has said a number of models are held up due to supply chain issues and some I think he said have been sitting as long as 2 years on his desk after approval of the model. But yeah it really does appear to be too much of a good thing. I don't have any idea when the additional capacity comes online there in Golden, hopefully soon and we can start getting the base models of the lineup in stock on a regular basis as well as new models.
