Old prototype Amsterdam meet question.

Any one perhaps know what happend to the Framelock Manix design that was shown in the amsterdam meet around 2016?
Eric told that it still needed some work but was very funned of it.
I held the prototype that day and as a manix fan it has not bin forgotten since.
It was a really nice concept that i thought had real potential. Now i can not find anything about it anymore so did it even get tl a real prototype and was it shotdown ? Or did it go in some vault in Erics office maybe to return some day?
