I went into my local dealer for a dragonfly salt 2 and the native 5 salt with the LC200N

This bad boy ergonomically fits my hands perfectly!!! Cant wait to slice and dice things up!!! :squinting-tongue

Not a bad choice.. gifted this exact model to my 12 year old niece recently, she loves the knife!

While performance- and ergo- wise I still prefer the Delica / Salt in this size range, the Native 5 just looks extremely cool (and works well too of course, don´t get me wrong!)
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

It's a great all around knife. I have the same and it is in rotation for yard work along with my other Salts.

I have an S35VN partially serrated one I got as a second, and I love the ergonomics.

Really want to try the M4 version; but am not really a fan of the mint/surgical green scales. LC200N is supposedly pretty tough also, and I love the bright yellow handles (much less washed-out looking than Seki FRN). Plus, it doesn't really rust in normal conditions.

Welcome to the Native 5 joyride ^^
Got my seventh yesterday... xD

I'll join you on the ergonomics, for me it fits like a glove ! and the particular knife you bought is in the Top 3 of my most carried. I love how LC200N reacts to use, and sharpening.
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Funny, I seem to not be able to pass up a nice N5 but, with the exception of my Spy27, they rarely get much pocket time. I just love them though!

I'll admit that the LC200N, S90V CF and more recently S35VN G10 are the ones I keep carrying ^^ The Maxamet hasn't got much love yet. The SPY27 was carried for a month, but is relaxing with a GB2 in a sock drawer at the moment. The S110 was my most used before buying the LC200N, it's a 180° turn but eh, you like what you like !

Between all my knives in my tiny collection I think its my favorite right now. Not a fidget friendly knife but its very functional. Not too big and not too small.

I just ordered a used vintage one, from the era of the larger swedge. I've never really wanted a Native despite how nice-looking it is, because usually if I'm going this small, I want it to be even smaller and with the regular non-leaf blade, thus the Salt.

Yet here I am with a Native in the mail, because it looked nice and I got a decent deal. :winking-tongue

Can't go wrong with a Native.
My favorite 3" folders are the Small PJ Sebenza, the Buck/Mayo TNT and the fluted CF S90V Native.
I use the serrated LC200N version in the garden a lot. It is easy to sharpen and holds the edge well.
