Will and company are great, I have their pens and have been over to their shop where everything is machined in-house. I don't have a blade yet but intend on getting one.

Their general quality and customer service are top-notch.

Matus said he had some problems with his Bexar originally, but was taken care of...

Thank you , the scales appear to be machined lightly to enhance grip ? MG2

That is literally the "tactile" in Tactile Turn/Knives! :winking-tongue

That micro-knurling is awesome!

It feels fantastic under your fingers...

I have several of their pens, and I'm quite happy with them. I might have to check out that slip joint.

It's a beauty, isn't it! Titanium, MagnaCut, slipjoint... Even a true clip point blade, my favorite! I wonder if their execution of the slipjoint is as good as Spyderco's. That would be almost too much to ask... :smiling-heart-eyes

I like the looks of it. Almost looks like it was loosely inspired by the CRK Impinda. I would be interested to hear any comments from owners who use one for EDC.

That slim blade!!!

Finally, a modern slip joint that doesn't have an excessively thick blade (looking at you, benchmade proper)

Nick Shabazz did a review on that knife, but his accent butchers the name. Hahahaha! He did a review of another of their knives, also.

Tactile knives is a brand that isn't available here in EU. I really like their style, just as Monteray Bay Knives and Quiet Carry.
I like to have a modern slipjoint on me most of the time. I carry the Bestman 2 most of the time (from lionSTEEL).

This Bexar, with the grind and bladestock seems to be just the right fit for my taste and use ! It's just gonna be pricy and almost impossible to get until they start using EU distributors :worried
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Robin. Finally made an IG : ramo_knives

Those of you contemplating a Bexar should know that Tactile Knives is moving locations, and deliveries will be delayed. You may wonder how I know this... :thinking :thinking :thinking ;) :cheap-sunglasses

I ordered one of these, received it, carried it a couple days, and am returning it. It's so hard to open, and closes so emphatically, that I consider it unsafe. Mine must not be typical, or Tactile wouldn't be able to stay in business. I plan to send it back, and ask for a new one in return. If they tell me mine is normal, I'll ask for a refund.

I love how it carries, how it feels in hand, and how it looks. I have a feeling I'll really enjoy it when I get a better specimen, but so far... ',:-|

I ordered one of these. I'll see how mine is--hopefully better than Coastal's.

Just a couple of reference points from someone who has never held a Tactile knife.

Traditional Sheffield slipjoints have very strong back springs compared to US made slipjoints. Think bear trap.

Case knives are often a little soft, in my opinion.

My point, I guess that it’s difficult to hit that perfect sweet spot of spring tension and that sweet spot might be veer towards the bear trap end of the scale if the designers are modeling after Sheffield traditionals.

Yes, it could be that mine is normal. If it is, it's going back for keepsies. I might feel differently if it were a big knife with a deep nail nick and a stag handle, but this one slipped in my fingers against its spring tension about half of the times I opened or closed it. Unsafe, in my opinion (and in my hands; it might be fine for someone else). Watching the YT reviews, I didn't get the impression other guys were having trouble with theirs, so we'll see.

My point of reference is the UKPK. In my opinion, it's perfect.
