Native 5 S35VN

Hey all I picked this up used and don’t have any reason to doubt it’s authenticity but just wanted to check. I notice that the blade tapers towards the tip more so than on my current production Native 5s. Was this normal for the older construction with liners?

Here’s a pic with S90V CF on left and S35VN on right. You can see that the spine tapers more (is thinner) towards the tip.

It is late for me but tomorrow I can take pics of both knives.

The swedge is not always the same on the Native 5s. The S35VN feels thinner towards the tip than the LWs and CF. I'll check tomorrow

That´s what I suspected: The tapering of the whole blade could be actually the same, but a thinner / steeper... ground swedge could make one blade look thinner towards the tip than another.

Yeah this looks good. Even the sides of the G10 look polished as they should

Also looks like the blade has a stone wash finish. Is that how they did them when they still had liners?
