I picked up an orange Tenacious off of the eBay. I only wanted the scales to swap onto an all-black combo blade because I thought it would be a pretty cool looking knife. I currently have seven real ones to compare it to but it really wasn't necessary. It's a pretty good fake... at least close enough to look ok in the eBay pictures. What it isn't is a good enough fake that I can make the scales fit onto a real knife anyway. I knew the risks of eBay but the secondary is really the only place to find this sold-out CS exclusive. I'll post some pictures of some of the more obvious discrepancies before tossing it back into the mail for a refund.

The black knife with the black hardware is the real one.
The orange knife and silver hardware is the fake.
Quick red mark-up of some of the obvious differences.

Pocket clip Bug logo, lock jimping, clip screws.


Overall thickness, stop pin diameter.


Spine jimping, stop pin diameter.


Logos, jimping, totally different blade shape.


Liner differences, plastic vs bronze washers, fully-round pivot.


Pivot material, fake missing flat, pivot screw diameter.


Huge stop pin to (sort of) match the goofy blade shape.


Plastic vs bronze washers.


Logos, G10 texture, unfinished lanyard hole, blade shape, hardware.

I see I never posted an overall photo so I took another one.
Green is real and orange is the fake.

Man I got the same thing but mine was blk g10. And different hardware but they are very close to the original. Just wanted it for parts
