Found this guy on a hike down the Chattahoochee River. It was cold and he was sunbathing. Picture is bad. He was too far away down a sharp bank.

Oh look at that children, this monster just stepped through a portal from prehistoric time.
Moose are crazy big. When we were on Safari, there were multiple elephant encounters. For there size, they hide quite well in the trees and bush. Until they want to be seen.

I guess it's like the scale or perspective, but that moose looks HUGE.
Although, I bet he really was.

I forgot to mention. The bandage on my finger is from a soccer match not the snake. Soccer is more dangerous than snakes.

Shot was off a ATV so makes him appear to be taller . In Alaska there is a saying : where does a moose go ? Answer is : anywhere he wants . MG2

That thing is yuge!
My in-laws live in central Wisconsin, and a year or two ago they had a bull moose come through the area. Almost un-heard of.
