^^^ Looks like a Cottonmouth.

Saw this little red fox last night while I was walking my dog. This was a little before dawn so it was probably getting ready to start hunting. It’s been spotted with a squirrel and a baby bunny in its mouth this past week, so it’s doing pretty well in this area.

Great picture, love Fox . I haven’t seen one yet this year in backyard. Wasn’t sure if the snake , don’t see venom snake in my area . I would have to go into Shawnee to see Timber Rattlesnake . They were killed out in the 1800s around here .

A few from our camping trip.

6yr old son caught a lightning bug. And he gets to hold the Chief.

If you listen to the accent of their buzz you can tell if they are African or European bees.

I love cockatiels. Best pets ever! I had one named sugar (my 4 year old niece named her). She was the sweetest bird and companion. She used to give me birdie kisses on the neck, play hide and go seek, sit on my stomach and share my oatmeal as we watched TV together, and a lot of stuff. She was well travelled, too. She road all over the US in my car with me. Unfortunately, my wife was allergic to her so when we got married I gave her to a pastor and his wife. I still miss her.

They are indeed really great pets sorry to hear you had to give her away. The one on the right on my picture does all the things you mentioned with me to. Funny thing is she does not like my girlfriend 😝 When she is out and on my shoulder or neck she hisses whenever my girlfriend comes close 😁 I only wish our youngest dog was not so crazy. I always need to keep my eye on him as long as the birds are lose in the house. 😝

At first glance I thought the tree frog was on a motorcycle. LOL He would have been in for the ride of his life!

This one actually looks more like a hornet, maybe a Baldfaced Hornet. Hoverflys usually have much larger eyes.
