New Halpern Mule scale site

Just got an email from Halpern Titanium with a link to preview their new website for ordering Mule handles- actual sales won't go live until 4:30 PM EST on Monday but you can start looking to see what's available.

Some helpful info related to the ordering process:
-All scales come with the hardware needed
-There will be an option to purchase additional hardware if you should want to
-No sale is final until you have an order number to refer to
-Please Limit 2 sets per color option but no limit to the amount of scale sets purchased
-All scales fully refundable within 60 days of purchase as long as they have not been used
-International orders need to be done manually-please email:
Jennifer@halperntitanium.com and include the following information:
Complete Name, Ship to address, Phone number and scale choices. You must include those 4 things for us to process your order
All orders placed will ship within 1-5 days and you will receive a tracking number. Please reach out if you have not received a tracking number after five days.
We will be doing additional scale runs through out the year so if you missed out on your favorite don’t worry-more to come! Spyderco hit it out of the park with this Magnacut!
Thank you again for your patience while we sorted out the new site. (For now only the mule teams will be up be keep an eye out in late spring for more great items related to knife making and be sure to check out the links to our TRM site too!)

Hey, did you guys notice that they already have an SRS13 mule?
I guess the release of that mule must be soon then.

A couple questions for anyone who knows, please:
In the photos it looks like the screw heads are inset on contoured handles and not inset on flat ones?
How thick are the flat handles?

Yes, Halpern hardware sticks out a tiny bit on the flat scales (0.53mm or 0.021inches per side).
Thickness of the scales is 3.65mm, or 0.1435 small freedom units, according to my calipers...

let's keep this on the down low. I want to be able to get some scales
I have been checking the website everyday for about a week. A couple days ago it was just the G10 Jade scales and then all the options came up last night. I hope they made a lot.

Got a set. Pricey though.
83$ with shipping and tax (local in MA). Type 4, Micarta.
This level of pricing will surely accelerate my Adventures in Mule scaling.

Man, I was busy with work for 20 minutes after the go-live and the deep blue sea micarta already sold out. Have to decide if I want to settle for g10 or wait for restock.

I got micarta burlap and jade G10. I don't remember seeing deep blue sea micarta before it went live.

The screws are inset very slightly on my flat Halperns. But you will feel the little "bumps" of the round heads which, IMO, increase grippability!
Am I missing something, or are there not photos of the different colors (as there used to be)? All I see are two images of flat and one of contoured?

I click the link in post #1, then click "Mule Handles", I get the two images, click on the left one, and get the order page.
Whatever product I select, the image changes to that one.
ETA: Thanks to Burly and Bolster for the tech info on Halpern flats!

From my phone, clicked the first link, then Spyderco Mule Team, then the photo of handles with $35.00 below it. To see photos of the options, click the bubble/circle for the one you want to see. Found one I liked, added to cart. Once processed, got an email from Jennifer. Works.
