I’m kicking myself for not getting that 21 insingo inlay. So if anyone sees a crk insingo inlay let a girl know.
If I ever let go of that 21 you linked me to I'll let you know. Have you tried a Small Inkosi yet?

Not yet. Although I do know where a small inkosi insingo inlay is but idk the ergos look uncomfortable?

I wish they didn’t discontinue the Ti-Lock. I bought one mostly because of the weird factor and it being less loved by the purists. I rarely carry it but I’m always impressed when I do.

Even with XL hands I love the Small Inkosi. It's definitely one of those knives that says "hold me this way", like the Manix. Sometimes I think I like it better than the Small Sebenza, which is funny because I like the Large Sebbie much better than the Large Inkosi. I think you'd love it! I think you like the Para3?

For those who prefer the 31 with inlays over the Zaan, is it the ergos, weight, or other that does it for you?

Nevermind, don't answer that.

Shannon, I may need that bed.
I think the Sebenza just has a more universal appeal than the Zaan. It is robust, but classy in a timeless way that many knives try to be and few succeed. The ergos are not "stick straight" as some like to say, but it is very accommodating compared to something like the Manix (or Inkosi).

The Zaan has great ergos as well IMO, with the lock bar "ridge" being something you notice but works well in use. Definitely lacking that universal appeal and classiness of the Sebenza with all it's badass looks, as well as gimmicks and features... Glass breaker tang, questionably sharp swedge, stop pin for thumb studs, rubber o-rings, and the ceramic interface. Yet it all makes sense in use, and carries slim and lighter than numbers may suggest. IMO it has the best hollow grind on any of the CRKs.

Like others, I'd choose the Large Sebenza if I had to only choose one, but probably a 21 with the better clip position ;)

Nada. I just got the GB2 last week, so need to breath a bit. I'm going to be at Blade Show here in Atlanta in a month. I'll get to put my hands on a lot.

Right on. I saved myself from buying another CRK and ordered a SPY27 Manix 2 LW. I had sold off the native 5 LW I had with it so I never really worked the steel. Only sharpened it twice.

You should really like that one. It is one of my favorite users.

Few upgrades today:
- Gold lanyard pin
- Gold backspacer
- Leather lanyard

Next steps are a lynch deep carry clip and a round hole. At that point, I think I’ll have a perfect edc.

I have to comment on the beautiful simplicity of the Sebenza. Hands-down the simplest, most bomb-proof knife I’ve ever had the pleasure of disassembling. Great job, Chris.

Who are you going to get to do the round hole mod?

Honestly thinking about just buying a dremel - doesn’t seem that hard to do with the right bits.

There are a few guys in the CRK Mods group on Facebook who’ll do it for a reasonable price, I just feel silly mailing it off for such a simple mod.

The only way to beat that would be the plain handle with a damascus blade with the acid etch worn from use.

11 to 12mm, all I have to measure it with is tailor’s tape. I really should get some calipers

There’s something about the small sebenza that I really like in a pocket knife. In some ways I prefer to carry the small and that’s weird for me to say as I usually prefer larger knives. On the small, the blade seems more robust do the the shorter grind and the stock is held out further towards the tip, meanwhile the large has thinner stock out towards the tip with a tall hollow grind to make it a great cutting tool.
