It is S35. I guess they are still trying to deplete their inventory. Has a March Birthday. I did ding up the edge working last night. Took it inside and a few minutes with a ceramic rod and strop and it is sharper than I got it. I kinda like that about LC200N on the Pac Salt. Though honestly, S45 shouldn't be that bad either.prndltech wrote: ↑Tue May 24, 2022 7:30 pmDude… yes!!!! Is it in s45vn?
Being the owner of multiple micarta inlayed sebenzas and one plain jane, I can confirm there is something special about both. If I had to pick just one, it would likely be a plain handled sebenza. It’s just easier to clean after working in the shop.

Plain Jane Sebenza. Almost walked out with it. The Inkosi Grooves work with my large hands. I have skinny fingers. It was really the Insingo blade that got me.

Definitely nothing wrong with a PJ. I sometimes miss the simplicity of the 31 I sold to Jim. Snail trails and natural wear look great on the CRK's I've seen. Noticeable, but also fairly faint.

Thanks again for selling it. I love the look of worn Titanium scales. If I could afford it, I'd have a car made from titanium panels! Eat your heart out Delorean.

On a side note, getting this thing in hand and putting it to some mild use. Whacking off some small shoots from a downed limb. It is built like a small tank. I just recently got a Gayle Bradley 2. Which is a beautiful knife with an absolutely amazing hollow ground (terrible detent). I remember reading through the design concept. How Mr. Bradley wanted it to be able to endure hard use. Just comparing the pivot areas on the knife are eye opening. On one hand, I have no doubt the Gayle Bradley can take some hard use. On the other hand, I have no idea how you break the pivot area on an Inkosi. The stop pin. Its huge!

I have that exact web page bookmarked. That Mnandi is very tempting. Am trying to hold out for the S45VN.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 6:34 amHey Shannon, I think I found something you may be interested in!

The Inkosi is pretty great at illustrating the differences between a hard use knife and a "hard use knife"JSumm wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 9:00 amOn a side note, getting this thing in hand and putting it to some mild use. Re: Chris Reeve Knives
Dude if that was raindrop I’d be in trouble. I’m holding off, because I already have boomerang on my large 31 and I have ladder on my small 31. Also, I bought the DLT elforyn small 31 unexpectedly and I shouldn’t have I opened the knife one time, closed it and put it back in the box and in the safe it went. Not sure I’m going to keep it.TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Wed May 25, 2022 6:34 amHey Shannon, I think I found something you may be interested in!

This is a fine tool. I removed the o rings so I could hear the action. The Mnandi will be next, hopefully on the next drop of S45's. There seems to only be those much too nice Damascus editions floating around currently.

The Backpacker looks a treat, especially in Magnacut.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
