Military is back in stock!

Post by Nuh Nups »

I know there have been a lot of people looking for a Military lately. They are back in stock at Blade HQ. Getting their restock notification made my day so I thought I would share the news with the Millie fans....

Best knife in the Spyderco catalog IMO!

My favorite version of the Military is the Knifeworks exclusive. It was Carbon Fiber and Titanium with a Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism and S90V blade. I love the R.I.L. on the Military.

That is the only Spyderco knife I would pay eBay prices for if I could ever find one. I really really want that knife! Anybody that sees this that has one or two...keep that in mind ;)

Agreed! It is one of those knives that definitely lives up to all of the hype. I’m carrying it today, as a matter of fact.

Rick,
Based on what you’ve posted on this forum, I’m 100% confident in saying you would really like this model. I like mine a lot and don’t see myself ever parting with it. That said, if that day ever comes, I will be sure to let you know!

Figured I should add a picture for you guys.

Thanks for keeping me in mind! Can't blame you if you never part with it, checks all the boxes in my opinion. She's a beauty, thanks for posting! Don't see that knife posted too often these days, so it's nice to drool over :drooling

Good to see some Millies showing up again! Still holding out for an S110V version.

I assumed it would be in S45VN now like the updated PM2s and Para 3s.

looks like they already sold out either way.

S30V might not be the latest and greatest, but it's no slouch. Carrying some today and I'm 100% sure it'll handle what the day brings.

Though I never tried S45VN I am certain that it does not matter to me if this steel or S30V (perhaps even with a slight edge towards the latter).

... now I hope the Millie will show up in Europe too!
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):

Amazing how this one is really not much heavier than the linerlock versions (4.8 vs 4.5)

Glad they're keeping it with the best edge holding of the s30v-s35vn-s45vn trio. Makes sense to me.

The carbon fiber makes a big difference. The all cf version is down at 4oz.

I regret selling my m390/cf model for that reason. Wasn't a fan of the RIL Ti/CF version and don't regret letting that one go though.

If I ever buy another Military (I have 4), I'd like the fully blacked-out DLC version. I especially like that the liners, stop pin, and all other steel hardware are blacked out.

Holy smokes! 231.00 for the DLC? I bought mine in late 2018 for $175 shipped. It's one of my favorite knives, but that's asking a lot.

Have to wonder what the price on that one would be now?

Wow. Okay, so I won't be getting a DLC Military. That is TOO MUCH of a price jump in such a short time. It won't be long at all before even a basic Military is $300+.

Holy Military pricing, batman! Wow. I feel like I stole my RIL S90V at $200. Granted that was discounted price when it wasn't selling well. Should there be an exclusive, it will be interesting to see how it will be priced.

That said, the murdered out one looks great!
