What knives are you interested in from the 2022 Catalog?

A lot of it was the same, however a few caught my eye. The Native 5 Salt in Magnacut is certainly interesting and I will have to get one. The Blue Native Light Weight looks promising, too. I like the color. Light weight only means FRN.
Edited to remove Lil. Typo.

Lil Native Lightweight was not in this catalog. I think you might be confusing the Native 5 lightweight for a Lil Native because it was on the same page as the Lil Natives.

The screw construction SS Police. That one I will buy when I know for sure I will receive the screw together version. So it may be a few months until a dealer stock is replenished with the new version. Will also hold my fingers crossed for an eventual Ti version.

Also the LilNative slip joint has had me excited since it was announced.

D4 Wharncliffe K390
D4 Pink S30V
Kapara CF S30V
Manbug Wharncliffe Black
Native Chief S30V

This makes up the majority of my shortlist going into 2022. The others are a couple non Spyderco fixed blades, and a 5x5 modified Endura. Exclusives and sprints and reveals seem to change things.

Yeah me too

I'm not really sure why but I'll probably get the Native 5 LW in Magnacut when I can. I also still want to get a Native 5 S90V/Fluted CF but haven't felt like shelling out that much money for one since I already have several Native 5s including the 40th Native and a Fluted Ti model. I also want a Watu but again, I'm having a hard time buying another knife that I don't really use. I think a big purge will probably help my situation but haven't had the time or energy to do that lately :)

As Kristi said in another thread, this catalog has none of the "to be released" items like pre-2019 catalogs. We just have to wait for the Reveals to be, ah, revealed. ;)

I was tempted by the Magnacut Native for a moment, but then I remember I just do not like the current iteration of that model. And that's after having tried to make it work 3 or 4 times.

Actually, I take back my initial statement. The Grasshopper in 12c27 just caught my eye, and might be one I'm willing to add to the keychain.

Nothing in the new catalog really interests me. I'll probably pick up a Magnacut Native for the collection, but I already have a whole pile of Natives and I don't find the steel itself particularly compelling. I was vaguely interested in the crucarta PM2 due to the variant construction method, but the way they've milled the lock side scale has moved it to my do-not-buy list. I was hoping the FRN Chief would make an appearance.

Native 5 Magnacut. I may have to dye those scales though.

Magnacut Native, ALL the K390, Civilian, Matriarch, possibly another P'kal, and the Cruwear PM2 might finally persuade me to buy another PM2. There are ALWAYS more knives I want than I can have.

Dipping your salt scales in simmering RIT Dye-More Racing Red 7(dye) to 1(water) dilution for about 30 - 40 seconds will give you a red similar to the st. Nicks exclusives.

All due respect, not a very interesting catalog to me.

Am waiting for new/updated FRN screw Manix & Caly offerings.

Magnnacut Native 5 LW is probably it for me. That K390 Police sure looks great too, but that's not new.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
