Keep trying everyone. The website seems to be moving at a decent pace right now and they are still in stock.
Grab them before the scalpers get them.

Well that checkout process was painful. I love these fixed blades so I feel the effort was worthwhile. I'm curious to see if I notice any practical differences between this and and the pd1 variant. This may become my new fishing knife if the edge retention and stability are there. Fingers crossed that the heat treat pushed the hardness ;) I find lc200n rolls too easily for my use. Pd1 is better a resisting rolls but I don't have the heart to leave it covered in water.
My zmax regularly goes camping for building fires and the edge never rolls... just microchips occasionally leaving a sharp working edge. The s45 mule has become my wife's favorite kitchen knife. It's slightly tarnished but not rusted from acid fruit and vegetables but the edge always has enough aggression to cut tomatoes with ease. I think of it as a more corrosion resistant s30v.
All in all, great little fixed blades.
I really appreciate that spyderco continues to make these. Looking forward to getting some real use out of this one

Scored 2. Took about 62 minutes.
Missed out on the last two mules so this was a surprise.

Free shipping, just an added bonus.

It's gonna be hilarious if Spyderco made like 10000 of these and they're in stock weeks from now after all this drama.

I wanted 1 but ended up with 2 :p I opened another tab and went through the process, got to the confirmation page and noticed quantity was 2, changed it to 1. Then I noticed the order went through on the other tab with 2, got email confirmation for 2. :D

Decided to give it one last try after seeing people get through. Site was slow, but went through the whole checkout process with no problems this time. Just had to wait for my turn, I guess!

Site running smoothly and still in stock. Hopefully folks here who had to quit trying will hop back on and snag one.
