More fake websites!

Some already rerported, it appears to be widespread..
Multiple websites that all claim to be selling Spyderco knives in Canada are all cloned and all fake. Just for stealing credit card info.
The domains are all recently registered and were previously real unrelated businesses. Phone numbers and addresses are fake.

https://www.traitdeplume.ca/
https://www.zimmermancustomflooring.ca/

Other clones of this scam are on non Canadian domains:
https://www.1sttmotel.com.au/

I suspect there are many more!

I used my credit card # on traitdeplume.ca, but red flags went up after I did.
I did some investigations and discovered the site was fraudulent, and then found the other cloned sites as they were sloppy and failed to change certain information that tied them together.
i.e all the shipping info refers to shipping in Australia. and that page was copied from an online appliance website in Australia.

I was able to lock my card before it could be charged and will get a new one.

I reported these to the goverment antifraud site in Canada, but not really expecting much to come of that.
I should have known it was too good to be true.
Be careful evereyone!

Can confirm that - did the same investigation (haven't seen your post before..), and moreso - I was curious and did an "order" (using one-time virtual credit card with zero funds on it). They actually do not charge your card in a moment, but instead they ask you to "confirm your identity" and send the copy of your ID documents. So this is one of the standard schemes - this is just a phishing website without any processing function, but later they will try to use your card credentials and documents in some illegal actions.
Stay safe.
