Should the Endela have been named something other???

#1

Post by cycleguy »

How do you guys feel about the Endela name? Should it have been named something other or is Endela a solid choice?

For some reason I'm not able to keep the Endela and Endura straight. Lots of times I see Endela but I'm thinking Endura - then realize I got it all wrong ... sometimes at checkout! Maybe just a me thing but it has happened more than a time or two?

Delica XL or Endura Jr seem a better fit to my confused mind .... ymmv. :respect

Consuming more B-12 and breaking out the nootropics!!!! :woozy :zany

I think "Endela" is fine. Perhaps you are overthinking this a bit?

I think it should've been named the Delura, because the Delica is obviously the superior platform and should come first in the naming convention to adequately signify that.

This made me laugh. I have always favored the Endura, but I do recognize I'm in the minority there.

I can see it now, two opposing sides in Burnt Orange and Salt Yellow T shirts, holding Endura or Delica rallies.

I’ve been around since before the Endela was a thing. As such, it’s always been the new kid on the block from my perspective. That said, I frequently get Spiro Agnew and Nelson Rockefeller mixed up, so I get the confusion.

I think Endela's ok. Look at the bright side, they could've used Deldura

Since it is the model I carry daily, I'm good with the name. For me its easy: Endela=Legal to carry, Endura= Not legal to carry.

Haha I've caught myself calling it the "Endica" on more than a few occasions..

I have no problems with the name as is, but I suppose "Endeli" would be a slightly more "accurate" portmanteau. That sounds weirder than Endela though, so what do I know.. :zany

If it’s that confusing, just practice saying “Endela” over and over again a few times. Then it’ll become easy to remember. It’s really not that hard.
