If a buckle was made, I would like a new design out of respect for the original.

I wonder if something like a Gerber Touche with a slippie action is possible.

How about the “Spyder rising over the mountains” scene with “Golden, Colorado, USA, Earth” across the bottom?

Sharp Guy
Regrading the trademark of Spyderco:

I am very aware of that, but if Sal wanted to resurrect the idea, there would be lots of folk in the US that could advise and assist him to making it real, if so desired.

I was NOT suggesting that anyone rip off the name, trademark, and intellectual property of Spyderco.

Sal would understand and believe my interity regarding this post. :)

Perhaps my post was badly worded, and I apologise for any misunderstanding. :bug-red-white

I would buy one that size in a minute, any bigger and they get uncomfortable over long periods.

Most large buckles that accommodate 1-3/4”belts are too big. I use 1-1/2” belts and the buckle needs to be no taller than about 2” or as said above it’s quite uncomfortable. Would love to see a reissue of the one posted in this thread.

I like the oval shape. It is more comfortable.
