Need to find a Spyderco dealer near Siesta Key FL

We're flying out for a week's vacation carry on bags only so can't pack my Pacific Salt 2, which is usually clipped to my swim trunks for a week and used often of course.....I"d hate to waste money on a cheap walmart knife that would be ruined by the time our vacation was done.... I can't mail my PS2 because the owner of the condo we're renting lives in another state. SO I would be grateful if anyone can recommend a dealer near Tampa to Siesta Key (airport drive to the condo).

I would like to buy a new Pacific Salt 2 (or similar) in a brick and mortar store close-by and then mail it back to myself in Colorado at the end of our trip. I used the dealer locator map on Spyderco's website but the nearest dealer to Sarasota has a disconnected number. I also called a few dive shops and none carried Salt folders. I found one dealer (bill jackson's) and they had a ladybug and a dragonfly in stock (dragonfly would be better than nothing).

can anyone in FL recommend a store that sells Salt folders at least 3" in length ?

Welcome to our forum. Hope someone can help you out. You may be able to order one from the outlet store and overnight it, but that gets expensive./

Try calling around to some boating shops. I've seen some that carried them(different state).

Also, if there are any Sportsman's Warehouses, I know they carry Spydercos. Also, maybe Dicks, Bass Pro, Etc.

I have found some easily found and some unusual Spydies available at a lot of bait and tackle shops. Maybe just go on an adventure and see what you find. Good luck!!

So, just mail it to a UPS Store in Tampa who will hold it for you to pick up. There are dozens of them.

They do that "hold service" for FREE !! Just call one to confirm.

There's not many Spyderco's to be found in the area. There's a lot of watersports stores and such in the area but anything you find is going to be mostly luck. Trailwalkers has been closed for a few years now but you probably wouldn't have found much there anyways. Bill Jackson's is a cool store and they always have some knives, but not many Spydercos, as you found out. I think the closest knife store is Razor Sharp Unlimited about 30min north of Bill Jackson's, but they aren't really a Spyderco dealer.
I remember finding H1 Salts in the West Marine store by my house but they closed. I do think there is still one by Siesta Key though.
I wish I had better news for you. If i think of anything else I'll post it.

This is such a great gesture thank you for the offer Buddafucco but the UPS solution is going to work and we can spend an extra $100 towards kayaking instead of buying a duplicate PS2.
