I packed out a Colorado PM2 and left the SS Stretch behind. Man was it tempting!!!!

I think we have choice of some great knives in K390 & blue FRN!!!

I am very tempted, but I will keep waiting for the XL and the Police LW SE. The game plan is to buy a K390 Dragonfly next week and gain some experience with the steel first. And I also like the drop point shape more.

What do you guys think about K390 compared to ZDP189? Just curious how you think the k390 will stack up, since the stretch is one of the few Spydie still available in ZDP

Had the SS and a Manix LW ... they seemed a lot alike (to me of course). I prefer my Stretch 1.

Thanks for the heads up! I love the design and prefer the blade shape over the original as well as over the PM2 (more reminiscent of the military). Also, K390 is quickly becoming my favorite steel. It's hard, tough, and just keep cutting with an aggressive edge. In the event the tip snaps off, grind it down from the spine using a diamond stone to become a drop point -- had to do this with the very tip of a maxamet pm2.

Yeah, I am impressed with the K390 on my Endela. Edge lasts a long time and didn't take much to restore to hair shaving sharp. I need to make a trip to the SFO to see what other K390's they have in stock.
