I just bought a PM2 black G10 black blade S30V from a reputable seller and it seems legit to me apart from the fact that
the hardware is all black coated, including inner liners, jimping and the compression lock.

All videos I watched about the knife show that they should be satin. Spyderco has them satin on their page. So do all google images. Even the seller had them satin in the picture.

Is it possible it's a fake ? Letter fond, action, centering, sharpness all seem legit.

The transition to black liners and hardware is an in-line change. If you look in our 2021 catalog, you'll see the black liners. This transition happens as we deplete stock of specific knives, so it's gradual. We will update our website photos when we confirm the change. As for the rest of the internet, unfortunately, that's beyond our control.

I am confident your knife is legit.
