Rit is my knife handle pepto-bismol. :)

I like the color, but not with this steel. H1 or LC200N in this color would have been great. Oh and DLC for sure. The mint/chocolate chip color someone mentioned was a missed opportunity.

I love the steel! Handle can be dyed or rattle canned.

Pass, not sure if id do business with blade hq moving forward anyway.

I share this concern. Seems that Blade HQ had a data breech sometime back. Luckily I was not contacted by them as being included in that breech but it does make me wonder.

I like the knife and the price. Better looking than the Jade scales they typically use! I guess if I can live with Teal S90V N5 I can live with a Mint M4 P3. I am concerned about buying from Blade HQ though......

Hey hey! I've been around a little while and I just got over that feeling a few months ago. :) That's only because my other hobbies are absorbing all my knife money. That and I realized the knives were piling up a bit :D

^ That said I was thinking about getting this one. But thinking about it I already have 3 Para 3 LWs and they work just fine. So maybe I'll have to pass.

Yes they had a data breach a couple of months back. I was notified by mail and email that my data, including credit card information, may have been compromised. I'm not sure if they have strengthened their security since then.

I see no reason to buy from BladeHQ anymore unless it is an exclusive that I am dying to have, even then I would still probably think twice. There are plenty of others to buy from like DLT, GPKnives, etc.

I think of it the opposite way... I’m fairly confident the store that had a security breach yesterday is the most secure of all of them today. People and businesses tend to react to things like this in extreme ways.

Whoever said it should have been GITD nailed it.

Even though I need to thin the herd, I think Im going to get one of these.

I like m4, I like patinas, I like para 3 ltwt.

I hope the color looks better in person. It at least, to me, looks better than that blue one recently.

Can the para 3 not do translucent colors? Because that would be cool.

I actually love the handle color but I think M4 is a little overkill for a linerless knife that is more of an EDC knife than a hard work folder.

-better edge retention (matters for edc)
-joy to sharpen
-less afraid to hand it to a coworker not knowing what kind of dumb sh they might do with it

That’s my rationale, at least. Hopefully m4 will tide me over until there’s a k390 version :D but I really wish I hadn’t missed the Rex 45 sprint

I wonder if Larrin’s methodology could be applied to the CPM-M4 recipe to obtain a stainless version...

Well it seems other people have chimed in with the info, but yeah the data breach and the way they seemed to not want to admit it, just kinda rubbed me the wrong way, I might purchase from blade hq in the future...maybe if they show they're taking security seriously.
