Make Kapara with CF and Magnacut!!!
Well that is quite the statement in a first post. Welcome to the forum. Magnacut would possibly be a great choice for the Kapara being a folding food prep focused knife. As beautiful as those scales are, it needs something gripper if there is a change. The combination of the slippery scales and pinching the scales to close with the compression lock kill it for me. And from an overall feel in hand and blade shape and handle shape, it is my favorite.

Hat's off to you Larrin. I'm carrying a Manix with Magnacut. Very sharp. Took a beautiful edge. Also doing very well in our corrosion test tank, after 10 days. Gonna be fun.

i know we're going to see the native first, but this gives me hope for a manix. a g10 manix with magnacut would be very nice.
Yes please g10 magnacut manix not the light version the normal version it would be the ideal manix 2

it looks like we're going to see a m2lw with screws in magnacut. it'll probably be yellow, just like the native salt. although i really want one in g10, people have been asking for a manix salt for a long time (including myself) and/or a m2lw with screws, so it's hard to be upset that we'll see it in this configuration. hopefully we'll still get a g10 version as well.

here's a thread i made a while back... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=91254

I'd love a M2LW in Magnacut but I'll be sorely disappointed if it is released at a premium price.

What you’re describing sounds similar to a spider chart. BladeHQ does something similar though they include ease of sharpening for a fourth rating. I’m not a big fan of the ratings they have though. I’m trying to help them improve the ratings but it’s going slowly right now.
PLEASE. When first getting into knives, I used BladeHQ to pick up many pieces, but also for their "Knife Learning" section. Those charts dictated my choices when it came to steels and knives. Looking back at them now just makes me realize how oversimplified and in some cases flat-out incorrect they are. Having them be accurate would be a great help to many novice knife enthusiasts.
