Wonder if it will sell as slow as the Cutlery Shoppe version.

I don't think so. This configuration will be a lot more attractive and well received, IMO.

Same here And hopefully with this releasing first it won’t sell out instantly.

Sweet! In M4 I’ll happily take DLC, but I’m really going to need someone to make aftermarket scales now.

Glad to see some more runs of the Chief. This version won't be for me but I hope BHQ's involvement throws the spotlight on this underappreciated pattern.

BladeHQ's signature jade/natural scales are not my favorite. However glad to see their run of the Native Chief, the Chief is a very cool knife.

The nice thing about them is they take dye very easily. I plan to keep a stock for backup and dye my user dark green. Already have the dye (Had hoped to use it on an M4 Military by now).

Go figure, right after I finally grabbed the Rex45 version a couple weeks ago. I'm one of the rare suckers for these jade scales with DLC, M4 just sweetens the pot. Especially these days when M4 isn't all that common. Going to have to think hard about this one.

I like it. I'd like to have it. I'd dye the handle black.

Have to see if I can come up with the cash. Went to the optometrist and ordered a new set of glasses today because I need them for a drivers license renewal. I feel like I was held up at gun-point! Would much rather have 3 more Spyderco Native Chiefs!!!

You're not alone... That black and jade looks so good! Their exclusives are really hard not to purchase. :o
I'm not going to pass this one up though. I'm in!

If I didn't already have a Rex 45 Chief, it'd be a lot more tempting...

For some reason the Native Chief does not sell quite as fast as other Sprints do - here in DE the Rex 45 is still very easy to find in shops - weeks after it was introduced. It will sell out eventually (it IS a very good knife), but it does not seem to generate quite the frenzy that Shaman or PM2 sprint runs do.

Yeah, I noticed that, too. That might be the price... I'm not so sure the sprint would have sold as fast in the US if the price tag said $250+ like in Europe. That's just a lot for a linerless tool steel knife.
