Hello everyone,

I got my first SpyderCo from Amazon today - but I am afraid it might be a fake. What tipped me off was the fact that there was no warranty or any other document in the box. Also, the box was not laminated. Looks fake to me. Can you get your money back? Better off buying from spyderco.com or authorized spyderco dealer.

From what I can see in the images, it looks authentic. Can you tell us who you purchased from on Amazon? We do have authorized dealers on Amazon, so that may help us help you.

I can still get my money back, yes. But Böker, the official distributor of SpyderCo in Germany, won't have the combined edge version of the police in stock until July.

The listing says it is sold by Amazon themselves. Here it is:

It is possible it was returned item that Amazon put back into stock. I would complain to Amazon and force them to exchange, otherwise I would return it and buy elsewhere.

Hi again I think youre good, it was hard to tell from the 1st set of pics. My PE Police didnt come with any paperwork either & I believe i bought it directly from Spyderco. I know its a horrible feeling not knowing if you got a fake Spydie. I have a couple im not 100% sure about either that i bought off ebay a long time ago.
