Oh you don't even know how much I would love to see a J.D. Smith model with a newer/better blade steel. This was one of Spyderco's first true classic folders. Like many of the other models in the late 90s/early 2000s the J.D. Two classics that I believe got looked over were the JD Smith and the C-54 Calypso ( the big one). I just bet in today's market both of those would sell out with newer/better blade steels. It just makes sense to reintroduce the classic models in newer/better blade steel IMO.
