I bet this S45v sells that fast maybe a little slower and I bet the Z-Max mule sells out in less than half that time lol might even crash the site lol. Going to be fun trying to get one!

Well... I had only planned on purchasing one S45VN Mule, but my first child was just born three weeks ago. :D

I thought it might be cool to pick up a second, make a handle, and then hang on to it for a few (several) years until I can give it to him. I know I'd love to have a Spyderco produced right around the time I was born!

I'm still debating on trying to grab one. The SPY27 was my first Mule and although it's really cool I don't find myself carrying it often.

Yes I think that is what happened. I went to the page and it said "out of stock" then I refreshed and it came up. I got one. :D

One question, Now I will try to order scales etc. can everything be shipped together?

Sold out before I could complete the checkout.

And I was logged in and ready to go.

Got two on the way, along with a leather sheath for me and scales and a kydex sheath for my dad.

Man, the site really jammed up right at 0900 MST though. 7 minutes of mostly static loading bars to actually get the order through on mobile with perfect signal. Are folks ordering on land line getting through better? I can't imagine what it's going to look like when Z-Max comes out, not to mention the heavy hitters like Rex 121, Vanax or Magnacut.

Bummer.

Took an early break to get in on this. Got over to my phone at 0955. Still showed "coming soon." Refresh refresh refresh. 0959 it shows out of stock. 1000 changes to in stock. Add to cart. Wait. Server timeout. Try again. 1001 get a call for backup in one of the units. Run down and sort that out. Do my part and run back to check my phone. 1014 back out of stock.

Maybe I'll get in on the next one.
