I just do not know what to look for as far as fakes of spydies go. I'm very new to spyderco.

Price doesn't bother me because I despise g10 and won't pay for s30v so it's the only configuration I'm interested in.

After paying the Ebay taxes that's going to be a very expensive knife. You'd be better off finding another model from an authorized dealer and finding separate scales and making the swap yourself. Probably end up saving $50+

Not at the moment. I didn't know you were dead set on S90V, was thinking maybe you just wanted something other than S30V. In that case, secondary market is your only choice for now.
