There used to be a lot of fake Damascus Natives on the Bay. I think it’s counterfeit.

The Damascus looks wrong too. Why would raindrop Damascus produce straight lines on the primary grind and why do those lines end before the plunge grind?

Also both the clip screw and clip are obviously not "original Native", but of course someone could have done this aftermarket both to a real and a fake Native.
Actually a decent idea and option (though really not pretty...) for those who want a wire clip on an older Native or Pac Salt 1 and the like

its a fake. the clipand clip screw are giant red flags, and if you zoom in on the bi-directional texturing you can tell its a far cry from the real thing.

Those were actually “the good old days” when fakes were such crap that they were super easy to spot. They are still crap but they have gotten much harder to spot.

Ever notice how a lot of the fakes are pictured with a metric ruler next to the blade? That's often a big red flag too
