Blade loose on the Meerkat

#1

Post by gadgetaddict »

I have a question for all the experts out there:

I received my new Meerkat last week. It's a great little knife, but when the blade is open and locked, it is a little loose. Can I fix it myself, or do I need to send to in for repair?

Thanks in advance,

Due to the vagaries of the Phantom lock, some looseness is inevitable. However, what is excessive looseness is up to you.

There must be a little looseness for the lock to operate. If there's more than that, sending it in may be a wise move.
