I saw a post on reddit the other day where someone had received a Para3, black G10 and DLC blade, that had black liners as well. There was no uncoated metal anywhere on the knife. They said that they got it straight from BladeHQ, and it couldn't be fake.

Is this something that will be happening to all new production DLC spydies?
If so, a pure black S45VN PM2 may be in order...

I believe most, if not all, DLC compression lock knives will get coated liners. If you are wondering about a specific model, you can check the 2021 catalog where it shows the model's picture with liners coated.

It's real. They are getting coated metal now. Even the Salt series is getting black hardware.
