I was so tempted to buy the Sun and moon version, but as soon as I saw the maple in the reveal I knew I had to wait for it.

I am still super torn between the birdseye and the sun and moon - but think I'm going to go for this one in the end. Pleasantly surprised to hear it'll be shipped to distributors soon!

I think these are the prettiest so far. My elder burl barkies can use a folder companion.

NICE! I'm super excited about getting this one! I hope Spyderco makes more and more models with wood scales.

Definitely refreshing to see something outside of G10 or FRN. Part of the reason I've been dabbling elsewhere lately, getting bored of the same ole same ole. Great looking little knife!

I should have one inbound as soon as KC fills my pre-order. That should also give me enough rewards points for a $50 discount off the next knife I don't need :)

Oh man... I managed to resist the "sun and moon" till now (and won´t be able to do so forever) and this is the next great variant of the Chap I really want.
I DON`T NEED another one at all, my FRN Chap is perfection already, but I just love this model.
So far I "got lucky", since CF, raffir noble and TI did not really appeal to me, but these last two iterations are just amazing and beautiful.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I've been wondering something about this one.

Is the wood stabilized or oiled?

The Sun and Moon and the Birdseye Maple are very cool.
I'm curious when they will hit Europe (Birdseye).

This will be my 10th Chap! I'm not tired of carbon fiber, titanium, stepped titanium, Raffir Noble, FRN or G-10 with inlays… but looking forward to this one.

I don’t know which I like more between this one and the Sun & Moon!
If they make a Dinosaur bone handle similar to some of the things I’ve seen Santa Fe Stoneworks do on Spydercos it’d make my decision easier :D

This is good news. I was tempted to purchase the carbon fiber version but I really like the look of the maple.

Somewhere there's a Swick 6 sitting in a box in a dark corner of a storage room, just waiting for a chance to spread its wings and fly :D

Any ideas which dealers in EU will be getting these in stock? So far I see it's up on the Lamnia website.
