Done a quick search, but i haven't been able to find out if the original VG10 Spyderfly is illegal to sell to/in the US?
I've been thinking of letting some US outfit sell it for me if that is possible.

Technically, yes. They were all suppose to be sent back to Spyderco and turned over to the Feds. That said, while there's always a degree of risk that US Customs will open any package mailed to the USA, given the number of US based internet dealers who openly sell balisongs and automatic knives from China, Italy, the Czech Republic, and elsewhere, it would seem ICE has better things to do these days than go after these items.

Thanks Paul. I will have to consider my options. It would be sad to have such a rare bird getting seized.

I think Arizona Custom Knives might sell it for you. I have seen used knives on there before.
