In the spring and fall we get what meteorologists call mountain wave clouds. The first picture was out of season from last Sunday’s sunset. The second picture was from last fall. What are your sunsets like?

Our sunset last night (Idaho) looked a lot like your first photo.

I caught this sunset in Carlsbad, CA.

I wanted to reply to this thread sooner, but I don't have my photos sorted by subject matter. This one is from 2017 facing Manila Bay.

One of thee prettiest sights I ever seen in my life here on planet Earth was when I was at the Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona here in the Good Ol' USA. Seeing a "sunset over the Grand Canyon must just be a preview of heaven itself. Yeah it was that beautiful :)

I had to work late last Friday to bring stuff to a dock. On the way back I got to see a pretty sunset so it was worth it. Unfortunately I couldn't take a picture because I was driving but I still enjoyed it.

In Arizona we get beautiful sunsets.

I just wanted to mention that back in 2000 when I traveled to California for employment, I noticed something, clouds. Not that we did not have a sky and clouds here in the Midwest, but I never lifted my head every day to take them in.

Don't forget to lift your chin up 10 degrees and see the birds, tops of trees, clouds, sunrises and sunsets. We only go around once. Take it all in!

This is right out our front window. We live in a neighborhood, but have a great view of a field from our front window with some amazing sunsets. She's going to send me a few pics from her phone that I will add to this thread later.

Nice thread. I wish I had noticed it sooner.
