Spyderco's servers are obviously overwhelmed with this once in a lifetime effort.

I completed an order for a blacked out Manix2 LW, $42 + $13 shipping (which was expected). Always wanted one of these as a beater.

That was my first ever Manix. Nothing fancy, will definitely serve you well as a beater!

Lucky you. I tried for an hour to order a Millie and Manix XL. Entered payment info twice, both times got booted back to the spyderco home page without it going through.

EDIT: Well what do you know. Tried again at the last red light I hit on my commute and it went through!



I'm pumped to have a Millie on the way, I miss owning one. Gonna try some mods on the Manix, like grinding the liners where the jimping is. I'll check back after work to seeif I can snag my first Native 5.

Still waiting on the page here. I SHOULD if things work out, have a PM3 AND a Native 5 and a Byrd Harrier (you know, for $10, why not? Byrds are the best Chinese knives for cheap people).

I had to refresh for an hour, lost a PM2 S45vn on my cart, but got Maxamet as a consolation. It's 2 AM in the wee hours of the morning where I'm at and I still have to sleep. :D

I got two Z Cuts, one of each edge type. I'm on a cell and it took about 10 minutes but I got it through.

What is the free shipping threshold? $150? I got free shipping on my two Millies. You should have added a Black Tenacious or something.

I tried six times to add a native and three times to enter mycard #. At this point I'm happy I got in, no worries about free shipping. If I can snag a Native and a DLCPara 2 later I'll gladly pay double shipping.

That Chefs knife is the only thing I have in my cart right now, but it’s to the point that absolutely nothing is loading. I’ve been here since it kicked off. I have to get back to work lol

Got 'em! I wasn't intending to get the Byrd Robin, but it was so cheap, I couldn't pass it up. While heavier than LW models, I love the look of the stainless handle knives.

Much faster this time. Only about twenty refreshes as I picked up a Hatchethawk and a Waterway fixed blade.

Dribbling a few new ones twice since this morning. Being bought very quickly.

I think that is a decent point; I took out the address.

On various forums I regularly run into members who won't reveal their city or even their state. I think that is rather silly. When regularly discussing valuables that you possess however, withholding the address is probably prudent.

I'll check out the sale again tomorrow morning. Hopefully we'll get a large number of knives added.

So the Native made the race for your "no blade play backlock knife" you wanted to try? :)

If so: Glad for you, but personally "disappointed" since I know the Chap would have been the alternative and I was really looking forward to your thoughts about this little beast, especially the thin blade which I know you do like.
