Don’t want to miss out on this one so thought I would start a thread to track release. Hoping it may be soon with Maxamet Sage already having been shipped.

Don't get excited over very many new releases these days, but ihis is one of a rare few that I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on.

I didn't even know this was a thing. Guess I missed it somewhere. Might be my first chaparral. I've seen Birdseye and flame maple used on guitars and it's pretty.

Definitely a nice looking knife, I planned on it...until I got some Figured Koa scales for the Watu! That took care of my itch for something "woody" and classy compared to my usual work knives. Very interested in how these scales look in person though, compared to the stock photo.

Koa is a very beautiful wood. I have a custom knife with Koa and it's amazing in the sun.

Not to detail this thread, but here's a few pics of my Koa scales. I disliked them at first glance...until i installed them and saw them at different angles!
