Probably the best overall design and not much enthusiasm, I'll guess we'll have to wait for the demand to rise...

I just picked up three Militaries in the seconds sale (DLC Camo, DLC Black, and Blurple S110V) since it appears there is no appetite to bring out any new Military sprints, exclusives, production, or otherwise. Still would love to see some new ones in 3V, 4V, AEB-L, Cruwear, K390, and CPM-154. SPY27 and S45VN would make sense too.

As always, I’ll toss my vote for Maxamet too. Also anything like AEB-L, RWL34, or CPM-154.

But what I’d want to see most of all is the fluted Ti done in solid CF scales. Second would be the diamond arc pattern. I think the different handle textures would sell me more than whatever the blade steel. For example, if I had to choose between an s30v fluted CF or a g10 Maxamet, I’d 100% pick the fluted CF.

Yikes, two formats on which I would have to pass! I suppose this illustrates the difficulty in making versions of the Military that sell quickly. Not sure why this model doesn’t have the same draw as the para 3 & pm2, except for the cost and size. It put me off too until I scored a used & dyed Cruwear version on the secondary market. I think it’s a really fantastic design. I’m sad I missed out on a few of the sprints because I wasn’t ready to commit to it. 204P, REX45, M4, and the peel ply CF 52100 would have been awesome. I’m most hopeful for K390 I think.

Its been three weeks since I started using a PM2 Maxamet as my only, do-everything knife (edc, kitchen, garden, homestead use) and I have no complaints so far. Also, I didn't sharpen or strop the factory edge and it still slices paper.

I would also like a Military in a tougher steel at a lower price and I think 14C28N should be considered.

" 14C28N is essentially AEB-L (or perhaps more accurately Sandvik 13C26), but with improved corrosion resistance. Despite the improved corrosion resistance, it is still capable of similar hardness (above 62 with cryo), and in CATRA testing it even had slightly improved edge retention. "

SPY27, 4V, and of course CruWear all hold interest for me, but I’m unlikely to buy another Military until the one I have wears out.
