So how does a fake knife get checked at Spyderco ?

A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.

So how does a fake knife get checked at Spyderco ?

Well guys I feel that I bought a fake Southard knife...a magnet sticks to the handle. So I sent it back to the company I bought it from and they sent it to Spyderco for verification. Just wondering how long this could take??

Thanks for any information you can share.

Hard to say. Spyderco is a fairly small company. W&R turnaround is normally about 3 weeks, but between the fact that they get busier before and during hunting season, that prepping for the annual Factory 2nds Sale may be an "all hands" operation, and whatever impact government mandates to "flatten the Wuhan virus curve" may be having, it may currently be longer. Plus, all that assumes the company that sold it to you actually sent it to Spyderco and isn't just shining you on.
