Some years ago, there was a TV documentary secretly filming my profession at work. Needless to say, I learned there and then to always behave at work like I’m being filmed!

I had this happen in church one Sunday. Years back when wireless mics were new to churches, a visiting minister went to the toilet just before the service got underway. Suddenly, over the sound system, rumblings, thunderings, signs, etc. came loud and clear. I was directing people to seats and I went running across the church and into the bathroom to switch off his mic and I was laughing so hard I could hardly speak.

This clip isn’t funny, and isn’t being posted as such. This scooter driver is a complete idiot. I rarely say such things about someone online, but the negligence here is astounding. He had two kids and his elderly mother on the bike with him, in broad daylight, with a clearly visible hole, and an admittedly lame but visible barrier indicating not to drive into the work area. And he drives right on in, without hesitation or a care in the world.

Spending some time in Southeast Asia, I was shocked at how often little moto's were used as minivans and work trucks! One trip we had a gentleman with, at least, 100 chickens strapped to his moped! We made the bus driver stop and let him pass us back so we could record it! I've seen up to 6 people on a single scooter with the adult male holding an infant on the rear :eek:

I recall seeing whole families of about 5 on one little Vespa scooter in Taiwan maybe once or twice, but not commonly. That’s pretty wild what you saw!

OK, this isn’t anything “caught on camera”; it’s one of the many spoofs/re-subtitled clips on YouTube taken from the 2004 German film Downfall. I posted another one in the ‘Favorite Chuck Norris Jokes‘ thread. But I wanted to post this and wasn’t sure where else it would fit. Whoever did this one re-edited and re-subtitled it perfectly. I hadn’t laughed so hard in awhile.

Most of what I saw with the scooters/tuk tuk's were in Cambodia and some in Thailand, but not to the extent of Cambodia. If I get a chance I'll look through my photos and post them up.
