Just got an email from DLT about a new exclusive:

"Good afternoon,
We are very excited to announce our next Spyderco exclusive. We have ventured outside of the US, and will have our first model from Japan. It is an OD Green FRN with a black Cru-Wear blade Delica. The OD Green is not as dark as what we've seen in G-10 but looks great with the black blade and blacked out hardware. Included is an image of our new model sandwiched between the standard Green and Foliage Green FRN that Spyderco has used.
These knives will be $115.50 each with a limit of 2 per customer. Available on September 15th at 11am Central."

dang. i wish the delica liked my hand. i might just have to jump on this anyway. that's a beauty.

Thirded. This combo and/or DLC Cru-ple is right up there with OD Green DLC Cru-Carta for me as grail knife heaven. Just make it easy and do all of the Golden and Seki models in these combos in sufficient quantities. Mortgage rates and low and home values are high. Are cash-out refis still a thing??? :D

I don’t need all the Seki or Golden models, but make sure to add the Street Beat and the Chief if we’re adding. Heck an Autonomy 2 or Ulize wouldn’t hurt my feelings either and while we’re at it how about the Hossom fixed blades??

Cool seeing all these interesting carbon steels making the rounds. Hopefully Cru-Wear and Rex45 will stick around in the lineup like K390 is in the seki models.

I hope they did a big batch.

The first sprint run was kind of an experiment to begin with so I don't know if this is even possible, but I'd really like to see the straight spine Stretch done in this config.

If not the SSS, at least the Endura and/or Endela. I don't carry the Delicas I've got now, so I probably won't get this. But I'd definitely get a SSS, and would probably get an Endura or Endela.

Same. This will be my one delica, unless they do any other model in this configuration.

Woof, Olive drab. I had to wear that color for four years, if I never see it again that would be just fine.

Good luck to those who want one, it's a great steel on a great model if you like the color.

I'm almost certain DLT could do a Straight Spine Stretch in this combo if they wanted to. They are the one putting up all of the money. I am sure Spyderco would welcome it since they already spent a bunch on R&D developing it. I'd certainly buy 2 so I hope they do this eventually.

I need a Cruwear endura! Preferably in forest green.

If their website acts is anything like the PM2 Cruwear release, I'll gladly pass.
Pretty sure the special ed 3rd graders were running the website that day.

If you want one you’ll probably be able to get one at release without much trouble. The Delica exclusives almost never sell out in a couple minutes like the PM2s.

Now that is one swell looking Delica. Although it looks kinda gray-ish in those pics, but whatever it is, swell.

Not your issue it but looks like the post that was quoted was removed. Probably a good thing. My lady worked with special needs kids for 35 years. It takes a really strong person to do that. She has a big heart for those kids. She hears (or reads) comments like that she's a force to reckon with. My younger brother was special needs too. Physically not mentally. I spent most of my younger years defending him. He seemed oblivious to ignorant comments but I wasn't. He's a successful adult with a nice family today. My GF and I both despise people like Superflex who make comments like that.

I love it. I will buy one. :)
