Here’s my entry for this year!

Here’s some ❤️ from these two spydies! I have been using my Spydiexhef for almost a week when I chanced upon this Techno 2. It has never left my pocket for the past month! I can’t wait to complete the collection! Congratulations Spyderco, I have found my favorite knives!

i didn't see these questions addressed, but i may have missed it somewhere... are there rules about mods/aftermarket scales and parts? what about dye jobs? what about discontinued knives or exclusives and sprints that are no longer available? i would assume you would want to showcase items that are currently available in your calendar, but i could be wrong.

thanks. :)

Entry must include a Spyderco product (at least one, but multiple are welcome). Any product Spyderco has ever made is fair-game. Your chosen product can be pristine, used, or radically modified.
All good to go! :)

I chose to use the St.Nick’s exclusive Paramilitary 2 in 4V. The sprint PM2 is one of the hardest to get and one of the best colour themes in my opinion. The red and black really pops out of the earth colours found in the background. The sprint is a perfect example of a classic design made more awesome with a new look and more advanced super steel.

Not sure if you caught this or not. But you have two posts. If you have multiple photos in this post, you may get disqualified.

Tried to correct it. Deleted some photos I uploaded in the forum. From my view, I only have one entry, correct?

Hello! I didn't visit the forum for two years, I had to register again ... (((And so ... One of my favorite Spyderco SpydieChef knives. I love the joint work of Spyderco and M. Slyzs. Collected his entire collection, except for SwayBack.

This is my Watu in front of the beautiful Chateau de Brissac, Loire Valley, France, on Wednesday.

I chose the Watu for this pic as it was the only Spyderco I had with me... if you look close you may be able to see the remains of my steak hache!

The chateau comprises a renaissance mansion built out of a medieval castle and is as ornately decorated and furnished internally as you could imagine. Much of the incredible wealth of these dynasties was generated in or serving the plantations of the new world ....

.... and if someone can tell me how to turn the image 90 deg. I would be grateful!

Update: I resubmitted the same pic in its original resolution from a PC - my old iPad had dropped this significantly. I hope this is OK.

Here is my submission for this year:

Police 4 (G-10 & K390)

This is one of my top three favorite knives of all time. Everything about this knife is so well done. It's very slim in the pocket and carries easily, while still offering a full 4.5 inches of thin, razor sharp K390 blade. In hand, the knife is solid, well-balanced, and is a joy to use. (As you can see from the wear.) :)
I recall Sal saying somewhere here that he designed the Police 4 to reflect his own personal tastes. Well, mine too. This knife is a masterpiece and will always have a place in my pocket.

Nice Connor! Would be great to see knife that's had some use in the calendar for a change! Always perfectly, pristine knives only. That's why I hesitate a lot of my shots :o

I'm not a Photoshop whizzkid but here it goes...
Image

I'll edit later with the exact model numbers but up front we have the Spyderco Tenacious G10 on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. On the homemade strop there's a Byrd Raven 2 G10 and in the back laying down is a Byrd Meadowlark G10 and a Spyderco Efficient G10. Stuck in the board is the Spyderco persistence and the Byrd Cara Cara 2 in frn.
I just really like both the Byrd line as well as the affordable Spydies. They're just workhorses and get things done. There's always some laying around in the shed, greenhouse.. But from time to time they need a good sharpening. Nothing is as good for a quick touch up as the Sharpmaker!

Edited: there was another product in the picture so I changed it here. Spyderco crew, please do not consider the first image I submitted through the webform. Thank you.

Just to be clear, a maker's mark on the blade other than Eric's or Sal's is okay?

Say I was using a Lum Chinese as my featured knife and the non-presentation side was photographed, would Bob Lum's maker's mark need to be cloned out of the image or could I leave it?
