Received my Province today. My first fixed blade was a gerber mk2, purchased in the late eighties as a teenager. Think I paid around $80.

The Province is a beast for sure and I'm thrilled with it. Came very sharp and dang near perfect. Can't wait to put it to work.

It's an awesome knife. I have done more chopping with this knife (really, just for fun) than I've done in a long time. I'm thinking of getting a second as a back up, because my experience with high end Spyderco fixed blades is that they are gone too soon.
