My favorite ideas are coating options, serration options, some steel options, textures, and things like that.

I was thinking about regrinds and I’d rather some knives were just ground thinner to start.
Maybe a regrind service could be a trial run before committing to that on some full production models?
Not all of them, but some.

I'm not really that invested as I do not really have the cash to play.

I'm still interested and have skimmed my way through this thread enough to have an angle, maybe.

Customizing as Spyderco collaborative knife by a custom maker. Example, 15V BBB Shaman with burple micarta.
Spyderco: Tenacious G10, Waterway, Para 3 Spy27, Pacific Salt H1, Catcherman, In the Mule Team Stable(Z-Max, Z-Wear, S45VN, Magnacut, SRS13/SUS405, M398, Aeb-l, 15v)
