So let's say Nick Foles is cut by the Bears... And signs as a backup somewhere... He's the best backup available right? (resume-wise).

I still think I'd rather have Dalton, Trubisky, Fitzmagic or Bridgewater over Foles. Foles can only play decent in one system. The others have adapted to other situations better I think (not including Trubisky, he's still young and I still think Dalton is better than he showed last year. That team was a mess)

He's a superb athlete. Like a Jack of all Tades but, Master of none imo.
I don't believe Tim can withstand the shots he will take as a Tight End, much less truly win a starting spot.
But, with Urban as HC, I would not doubt at all a roster spot for him.
Just my 2 pennies.

I got nothing against the guy and I hope he makes the roster because the memes will write themselves. :)
