To that point, I do agree. It is kind of hard to believe he wasn't as successful before he drafted Brady. I'm just forever grateful they both ended up on the Patriots at the same time!

This upcoming offseason is going to be really interesting for Bill, to say the least. He has a ton of cap space to work with, so I'm expecting some big moves.

There are a few benefits to having Jimmy G back. He's talented, familiar with the system, and Bill loves him. He's kind of fragile though and gets hurt often. Personally, I would rather have Deshaun Watson but I'm reluctant to think that's going to happen.

Interesting thing about that is that Heinicke was on the Patriots practice squad in 2017. He really played well and definitely caught some attention. I don't think I'd be ready to commit to him as a starter though.

As much as I hate to, I have to agree Rick.
Big Ben has seen his better days.
Don't get me wrong, he can still throw for over 500 yards and 4 TD's ----- but not at the expense of 4 INT's

I heard somebody (on a football site) say that Watson would take three first-round picks to get from Houston. That's steep price to pay.

There are plenty of coaches who learn from past mistakes. Terry Francona was just awful in his time with the Phillies. He has been fantastic with the Red Sox and the Indians. He's still one of the game's best managers. I guess you have to learn what doesn't work before you discover what does.

I like to think Belichick fits into that category. :)

On the Deshaun Watson trade - I also heard that it would be require a lot to get him out of Houston, which is why I'm reluctant to think theres any chance the Patriots will land him.

I've heard him connected go Miami a few times now. They have the first round picks and could pair them with Tua to increase interest from Houston. This is something I would not want to see happen!

I can picture the texans and 49ers swapping QBs and some picks since the texans gm is from the Patriots... Maybe he wants jimmy G back

Urban Meyer is walking into an organization where he will have near total say of anything that goes on, 11 draft picks in 2021 and hella cap space. If he F's this up he's a moron. I think he will crush it though and turn the Jags into a winning organization.

Yes, and he's always had a way with QB's too.
Urban is a good coach.
Hopefully he will do well in the N.F.L.

Deshaun Watson has at least 4 times the potential than that of Jimmy Garappolo. His trip to the Superbowl in 2019-20 was an aberration of sorts. Seriously do you see people standing in line for him. I can't feature it myself. Maybe as an ideal back up QB.

You could be right>> and maybe he might be a good fit for the Jags but there are so many of these coaches out of the college ranks that have fizzled out very quickly in the NFL. Actually I wish him the best. But that Jaguar's team has lots of serious repair work that needs to be done.

Jack Del Rio tried his heart out on that team but just couldn't find any lasting success with them at all.
