Kawi zx6r :D 16,500 redline. Love the sound of a 600 with its neck rung. High rpm Hondas do sound similar, I've always loved the way the s2000s sounded when uncorked. Similar powerband to an inline 4 bike as well. No torque, all horsepower.legOFwhat? wrote: ↑Wed Feb 12, 2020 7:20 pmMy ole Civic type R cut out was around 9500rpms (Hondata) can't imagine 16k or 11k

Are your ears ok? :p You must be confusing the Harley logo with Hondas logo.
Hahaha yes, some Honda's definitely have that sound!
Very true... Thinking about it, it would've been hard to stay on topic after a few replies anyway. There really aren't that many sounds a knife can make hahah :DTkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:18 amHahaha yes, some Honda's definitely have that sound!
The thread never really had a specific purpose related to knives, even Sal himself derailed it :p
The sound of a cheap exhaust on a budget Honda... Terrible! But a quality system on a built high rpm Honda? Pure music!TkoK83Spy wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 8:18 amHahaha yes, some Honda's definitely have that sound!

Probably going to buy and XSR900 this spring. I think I will quickly learn to love the sound of a 847cc triple at 11,000. :)soc_monki wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 7:02 amKawi zx6r :D 16,500 redline. Triples can sound amazing! I do like the triumph triples. So different, so good! I also like the Yamaha flat plane crank sound as well.bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Thu Feb 13, 2020 11:29 amProbably going to buy and XSR900 this spring.
