How about a CQI Dodo in regular production?

I've been using my BHQ Dodo at work for the last few weeks and I am of the opinion that it's a solid work knife. The blade shape and handle size are great for warehouse work. It combines the usefulness and blade size of a hawkbill dragonfly with the stoutness and leverage of a full size handle. As I've said before I think it was a design ahead of it's time, and think it would do well in the modern knife market where people understand the benefits and features of the design. My only suggestion would be to add a caged ball bearing lock, and (maybe?) make the wire clip a deep carry wire clip.

I think this would sell well in a number of different steels and edge types. I think it would do even better as a lightweight, but underatand the upfront costs for that may be prohibitive. What do you think?

Definitely! Maybe LC200N or Cruwear. Something tough so people aren't snapping off tips. Love the idea of a LW with a wire clip.

Also, I still am holding out hope for a Dodofly!!

I’d be all for a Dodo in regular production, Cruwear, 20cv, LC200N, 52100, K390 etc. I’d also love to see micarta, PE and SE, and I really don’t even care what lock it has.

I’d love to see this but sadly I doubt it’s in the cards.

I love the Dodo and would buy another in a second...and the caged ball bearing would be very welcomed by my fat fingers.

Seeing the black Yojimbo 2 I think that would be awesome to see the Dodo get the same treatment. Regular production Dodo would be neat. I could stock back up :D

Bearing cages have significant up front costs. Unless a Manix 2 cage fit.

I wouldn't consider CBBL as CQI.. More like a Dodo 2 (and i wouldn't like it)
